FAQ's

Q. Do you provide corporate coaching services?

Absolutely. We offer corporate coaching services and would love to learn more about what you’re looking for. Coaching can typically assist with:

  • Benefits packages; including support for returning to work after illness or an extended career break, navigating maternity and paternity leave, preventing attrition and managing stress through wellbeing.

  • Leadership and development; helping new managers and leaders in their new roles, offering unbiased 360 feedback, performance management and internal personal brand building for leaders.

Q. How can I tell if you’re the right coach for me?

Wonderful question! The perfect coach for you is someone you feel a bond with, trust, and who challenges and motivates you in the way you need. I believe you'll instinctively know if it's a good fit. To help with that, I offer a consultation call so we can chat and get to know each other before you commit. You can also check out my biography for details on my training and experience. It's also important to look for a coach who is accredited and certified with the International Coaching Federation, with thorough professional training, governing code of ethics, client supervision hours, and personal coaching experience. In an industry where anyone can claim to be a coach, it's essential to ensure you're getting the support and guidance you deserve.

Q. What is the difference between a coach and a psychotherapist?

The difference between coaching and psychotherapy lies in the specific training, approach and focus area. Coaching operates on the premise that you inherently know what you want to achieve in your life. It takes a forward-thinking approach, empowering you to set and achieve your goals through self-discovery and growth-oriented strategies. On the other hand, psychotherapy and counselling tends to be focused on long term issues, healing the past and overcoming mental health challenges.

Q. Can I have a coach and a psychotherapist?

It's quite common and often beneficial to have both. As a coach, my focus is on guiding you toward your goals while helping you develop self-awareness for effective decision-making and relationship building. Coaching can complement therapy, and I encourage consulting with your psychotherapist or counsellor for their opinion on if this dual approach can support your healing journey.

Q. Do you help with clients who have diagnosed mental health challenges?

No. My coaching approach supports holistic intelligence, with a focus on personal growth. If you require mental health support, I recommend reaching out to your medical doctor or physician who is best qualified to refer you to the relevant counselling, psychotherapy or psychiatry services available to you.

Q. Can you coach via voice calls or do we have to meet in person or Zoom?

Absolutely! While phone calls offer flexibility, it's important to note that coaching is often best done with the screen on or in person. This allows for a deeper connection and better understanding of non-verbal cues, which are essential for effective emotional processing.

Q. Can I purchase coaching on behalf of a friend or family member?

You can gift emotional fitness coaching for special occasions like engagements, weddings, promotions, or new parenthood. Reach out to find the perfect approach. It's crucial that the recipient is willing and has a connection with the coach, so starting with one session is recommended.

Q. I'm interested in investing in personal development coaching. What should I expect in terms of fees?

Following our consultation, you'll receive a personalised proposal outlining the fees based on your chosen programme, session duration, frequency, and location. This provides you with the necessary details to make an informed decision about your emotional fitness coaching journey.

Q. Can you work with kids?

Our coaching services are for adults who are eager to grow and improve. However, through coaching, parents often gain a deeper understanding of their values, perspectives and emotions, which naturally enhances their parenting skills.

Q. How long do I need a coach?

We suggest beginning with an 8-week programme to address your immediate goals and lay a strong foundation for growth. After this period, we'll reassess your progress and adjust the coaching plan as needed to continue supporting you effectively. The duration of coaching varies based on individual needs. We'll work together to find the best approach for you.
